At Henson Plant Hire we have a wide selection of Excavators for hire from the micro excavator up to 8ton and we can provide them on a daily, weekly or project length hire with or without a certified operator.

Our excavator range also have a selection of attachments from hydraulic breakers to auger attachments for our 1.5ton and 3ton excavators. Thanks to a partnership with specialist suppliers, we can provide a wide range of attachments for all our machines for a variety of applications.

Recognised across the plant hire indsutry as the ‘original’ mini digger machine. The 1.7Ton Excavator is great for hire to help with your small drive and trench projects or where space is an issue.
These compact machines weigh in at 1.7T and have an increased dig depth of 2460mm. This is all achieved without increasing the overall width or compromising on the perfect balance.
The high spec and quality build of this machine makes it a plant hire favourite amongst our customers. They also admire the fact that we have managed to keep our rates the same despite supplying a superior machine!
We can supply hydraulic breakers and augers to fit our 1.7ton excavators, ideal for fencing, tree planting and landscape work too.
Our most popular digger is the 3ton. It is small and mighty for most jobs but still has the power to dig in almost any ground.
We can supply the 3Ton Excavator complete with hydraulic breakers and augers making it a all-round machine for some of the larger projects.
For larger jobs you will need to size up to our 5Ton excavator. With the extra reach and capacity you can load lorries with ease. Although classed as a mini digger you will find the 5Ton operates more like our larger machines. The 5Ton also has a series of attachments adding to its flexibility. As with our smaller Excavators, we can supply hydraulic breakers to suit our 5Ton machines.
Fitting in between our 5Ton and 13Ton Excavators the 8Ton machine completes our range of excavators for hire allowing us to a complete collection to supply you with the right machine for the job. Ideal for ground works, loading lorries and is usually supplied with a 6 ton or 9-ton dumper.
